The Snork Maiden has been given pause to review her marketing strategies. Finding herself sadly alone, she resolved to rectify the situation by taking out an ad in the Hills Shire Times for companions to join her at Joyfallee. She is a little nonplussed by the respondents, most of whom seem to be either excessively spotty or excessively fluffy. In particular, Hildegard (von Joyfallee) and Theodora, in all their downy splendour, appear to had flapped straight off the pages of a Dr Seuss book. The Snork Maiden is not sure how she is going to construct a meaningful relationship with coop-mates who appear continually to be on the brink of bursting into a recitation of “I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam-I-Am”.  …the less said about the response to her advertisement from a wandering black snake, the better.
