With
the recent death of Fidel Castro, Milky Way has taken the opportunity
officially to end all pretence at a chicken commune. She has, instead,
instituted a right-wing dictatorship led by her good self, and is enforcing the
new regime with gusto. Her well aimed pecks have seen Etoile Filante becoming
accomplished at the 50 yard dash in any direction leading away from Milky Way’s
beak. The silkies, unable to see above their head feather canopies, are convinced
at regular intervals that the sky is falling.
