The joy has disappeared from Joyfallee with the death of Theodora, movie star chicken. She was attacked and torn apart in broad daylight, with her body discarded on the ground like a poor broken toy, and feathers strewn about resembling petals or fallen stars. A sweet and guileless soul, who never raised a beak in anger, and dwelt in a world forever framed by her floating feathery headdress –she deserved to live happily into old age and die peacefully – not to endure such a violent end.
